Looking after the environment and sustainable mobility have always been matters of great importance to us here at the Taser Alm. Respect for the nature that surrounds us is a philosophy that we have handed down from generation to generation. As an eco-friendly hotel, that’s why the Taser Alm is practically car-free and most easily-accessible by the Taser Alm cable car, which we run ourselves. You will find space for your car in one of the reserved parking spaces at the valley station. Every day, one return trip with the Taser Alm cable car is included in the cost of your stay, allowing you to experience a unique holiday experience in the heart of pure, clean nature. And thanks to the good local transport system, you won’t even need your car down in the valley.

The EU Ecolabel

Ever since 2009, the Taser Alm - at the time, the first hotel in South Tyrol to do so – has carried the EU flower label of environmental excellence in recognition of our commitment to environmental compatibility and nature conservation. This award has always been of great importance to us, and its significance at the time applies even more so today: Our natural heritage deserves to be protected, and only if we look after it well can we ensure that our descendants will be able to take pleasure in magnificent places like the Taser Alm. The most important measures we have adopted are: We heat our entire premises with wood (wood chip), supported by solar panels. We produce around 36% of the electricity we consume with our own photovoltaic system. The water which we use also comes from our own, quality-controlled natural spring.

E-car charging station

There are two 11 kW charging stations at the valley station of the cable car.
If possible, we ask you to schedule charging in the evening / night hours so that the stations are available for day guests during the day.

If you need an additional cable car journey to re-park your vehicle, please simply speak to our staff at the mountain station - we will be happy to help you.

Payment options: In addition to credit cards, many other charging cards can also be used to pay directly at the station.

We take responsibility for the climate, the environment, the people who spend their holidays with us and, of course, for our employees. Every single contribution is very important and extremely valuable. Every morning, our guests can decide individually whether they want the daily room cleaning service or not. All they need to do is hang the "Think Green" door sign on their room door in the morning. This lets our chambermaids know that no cleaning is required for that day...
